My First Acrylic Album

This is my first acrylic album that I put together. It was a lot of fun. A little harder than an album with solid pages, but I enjoyed the challenge. There was really no theme, I just used some of my favorite pictures of Charlee. I used all Close to my Heart products.

Monday, February 23rd

Charlee got her first pair of flip flops today. They are her favorite pair of shoes right now! Gotta teach her young.Tuesday, February 24th

While I was checking my email today, this is what Charlee constructed. She lined up her movies and then placed a toy on top of each one. She has a very good imagination.

Thursday, February 26th

Today is Erlines birthday, so we went over to her house while she was at work and put up the banner I made and some balloons and streamers. I also did her dishes for her. Charlee had a lot of fun "helping".

Wednesday, February 25th

This is the "card" I made for Erline. It is actualy a scrapbook page. I bought an album and placed the picture inside and then gave it to her. I plan on making more pages for her album in the future and when Char is a little older she can make some pages to add to it.

Just another trip to Target. One of many. This is Charlee's (and my) favorite place to go. She loves the toy area but what kid doesn't!
Saturday, February 21st

We went to Wheeler Farm today. It is a historic farm here in Midvale. They have all sorts of farm animals and a duck pond for people to walk around and look at. It was fun. We will have to go back during the summer when it won't be so muddy!!! We sat Charlee on a branch in a tree and I took pics but the background was really bright and Char turned out dark. I snapped some of Char with her daddy and they turned out better. I really need to learn how to use my camera better!!

Sunday, February 22nd

Lynn was on call today and had a go to Park City. We stopped at the outlet mall to walk around. Charlee spotted the toys and ran over to go for a ride with Kermit. She has come a long way with not being so scared of everything. A few months ago she would have never gotten in this car with Kermmy.

Erlines Birthday is February 26th, so I thought I would make a banner and go decorate her house on her birthday while she is at work. This is a pic of my table while I was working on it.Monday, February 16th

Yay!!! A washer that actually washes and a dryer that dries clothes the first time!!!

This is one of Charlees favorite things to do. She likes to "drive" the car.

Wednesday, February 18th

We went to Best Buy to look around and Charlee came upon the Guitar Hero display. She really likes the guitar!

Charlee kept spinning, so I tried to get a picture of her. She is blurry but thats Ok. If I know more about how to use my camera I could have gotten a better picture.FFriday, February 13th

Today I did a little "photo shoot" with Charlee. This is one of the many pictures I took of her. I love digital cameras. I like knowing that I can just snap away and then check my camera to see if I got at least one good picture.

I'm a Finalist!!!

So the post below is a canvas that I scrapbooked on. I entered it on Sunday in a Close to my Heart Contest for National Papercrafting Month. I got an e-mail today that I was chosen as a finalist in the Large category!!!! I am one out of five that they chose. Now I have to mail it to them by the 24th to be considered for the Grand Prize. For being a finalist I get to choose a free stamp set from their catalog. I am so excited. Of course, I hope to win the grand prize, but I am so thrilled that out of all the entries they had, that I am one of the 5 finalists!!!! I did not expect to even hear back from them!!! I don't know when I'll know but I will post when I hear.
