My Sweet Tommy Boy

These pictures bring tears to my eyes! I love my sweet little boy!!!

Charlee and Her Baby Brother

Tommy got to be a "model" for an awesome photographer, Emilie. We had so much fun at the photo shoot. Emilie is so nice and she definatly knows what she is doing. I have only seen five of the pictures that she took, but I can't wait to see the rest. Her website is http://www.photobyemilie.com and her blog is http://www.photobyemilie.blogspot.com . We are going to have Emilie do family pictures this spring or summer. I can't wait.

Hungry??

There is one technique that Lynn always liked to use with Charlee to see if she was hungry. Offer his nose. As you can see in this case, Tommy was hungry. Tommy is 2 and a half weeks in these pictures. He is such a good baby!

Pictures To Come Soon!!! I Promise.

Having a baby that doesn't like to sleep through the night and a 3 year old that demands all of my attention, makes it a little hard to take time on the computer to do blog posts. On top of it we had a HORRIBLE weekend. I am going to ppost pics this weekend. I swear!!!

Thomas Hunter

My sweet baby boy is here!

Thomas Hunter was born on December 28th, 2009

at 12:35 pm, 8lbs 2 ozs,

21 inches long.
Everything went great. I was scheduled to go in at 6:45 am on the 28th to be induced. We arrived at 6:30. The nurse came in at about 7:30 to get stuff ready. She started Pitocin at 8:30. The doctor came in and broke my water at 8:45. When he left the room he said I could have an epidural whenever I wanted it and that he would be back around lunchtime to

check on me. I had been having small contractions all night long, but about 45 minutes after he broke my water, the contractions were ALOT stronger. After having about 3 good contractions I called the nurse to let her know I was ready for drugs! I recieved an epidural at about 10. Ahhh, the epidural, what a wonderful invention! I sure wish I had had one with Charlee! I actually dialated pretty fast. Around 11:30, I felt alot of pressure, like I was ready to push. After a few of those I called the nurse to let her know. Sure enough I was at a 10 and ready to go. The doctor got there a little after noon and then it was time to push. After 8 minutes of pushing he decided to just do the episiotomy. (He was going to do one anyway to repair the episiotomy that didn't heal properly when I had Charlee.) One more push and he was out. Our son was finally here! He has been a very good baby and Charlee loves her baby "brudder".

Through all of my surfing the web and discovering new web sites and blogs, I came across a photograhper, Emilie. http://photobyemilie.blogspot.com I have admired her photos for almost a year now and check her blog frequently to view all of her beautiful photos. I have always wanted to have family pictures taken by a professional photographer, and Emilie is who I want to take family pictures after Thomas comes. She has had a few givaways and I won this one for a 10 minute photo shoot of your child with Santa. We went on Saturday, December 19th. I knew it would not be easy, since Charlee is afraid of people dressed as Santa, but thought we'd give it a whirl. Charlee just would NOT smile. She was scared of Santa and would not even warm up to Emilie. It was really cold inside, so I think that had a little to do with her giving no emotion. She did smile a few times, so I hoped Emilie was able to get at least one good picture. Anyway, we ordered the disk and I got it in the mail on Tuesday. (Really fast!!) There were 11 images and I was very please that she was able to get some really cute shots of Charlee. These are 4 of the 11 that Emilie took.I was glad she got a good one of Charlee with Santa. Charlee got excited because Santa had asked her what color of plastic high heels (or as Charlee calls them, "plastic healings") she wanted for Christmas, so she turned to him to say "Pink".
I think the picture above is my favorite picture of Charlee! She is so cute and I just love her so much!!!

She smiled good for this shot too!! So cute!!

She is just so sweet in this picture and I love it that you can see her tights!!
I am doing Christmas/Birth Announcements so it will be January when those go out!
We wish everyone a
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
