"Project 365" January 21-24
Wednesday, January 21st
Today Charlee and I were going to go with my friend Paige and her daughter (Charlees best friend),Miriam, to the library. Paige was doing a little class and I went to help keep an eye on Miriam. I curled Charlee's hair for the first time since I cut it. I think it is cute. So we had a little photo shoot before we left. When I said "Smile big." this is what she did!!Thursday, January 22nd
This was my Christmas present this year. A new "diaper bag". I loved my old one but it was just too big and now that Charlee is no longer a baby I could use something a little smaller. It is big enough to carry a lot (like my camera) but small enough so I don't feel like I am carrying Charlee in my bag. I absolutly LOVE it!!Friday, January 23rd
Charlee decided to bring her little people house out into the front room to play. She had the liittle people eating lunch and going potty. It is fun to hear her using her imagination.
Saturday, January 24th
Today we drove to Orem so that I could use my gift card to Archivers Scrapbook store, that Kirk and Kelsey gave me for doing their wedding invites. Whenever we go to Orem we have to get Krispy Kreem doughnuts. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Charlee wanted a heart doughnut. Here she is savoring its yummy goodness!

"Project 365" : January 15-18
Thursday, January 15th
Charlee's My Little Pony's. She loves tham just as much as she loves her Care Bears.
Saurday, January 17th
Charlees' first real haircut. I have trimmed her bangs but never really cut her hair. So on Saturday evening I decided to do it. She was pretty good, but it was so cold, I had to put a towel around her and that made it harder to cut. She also moved around a lot. I am no hair stylist either. I cut it into a bob. I need to touch it up a bit but I hope her hair will grow in a little more even now.

This is Charlee with her new haircut. I need to fix it up and get a better picture of it. We were sick, so we ditched church, otherwise I would have tried to fix it up. I actually still need to trim it some more.
"Project 365" : January 11-14
Sunday, January 11th
Just on another one of our drives to get Charlee to nap. She of course, had to bring a "snack" along fot the ride.Monday, January 12th
Charlee showing off her "sparkly" shoes. These were the shoes that Kirk and Kesley got for her to wear for their ring ceremony. She was a flower girl.
Tuesday, January 13th
Bath time. Charlee likes to "swim" in the tub and be a mermaid. She also enjoys laying back and chilling.

I was getting Charlee ready for bed and had taken off her little undies, to put on her diaper, and threw them towards the stairs. This is where they landed. We all thought that was pretty funny! So I had to take a picture of it.
"Project 365" : January 7-10
Wednesday, January 7th
Charlee loves to stand at the kitchen sink and "wash" dishes. She got a little Tupperware set for Christmas that includes cups, plates, mixing bowl, rolling pin and other various kitchen goodies. She will pull them out and ask if she can wash them. So she retrieves her stool from the bathroom and places it on the towl that I have laid down and I turn on the water. Just a slow drizzle is all she needs. She will stand there for at least an hour playing.Thursday, January 8th
Some days Charlee and I like to indulge in a fourth meal. Ok, it is just lunch, but to us it is a treat. Lynn hates Taco Bell, so I usually only get it when it is just me and Char. Charlee loves tacos and the "cinnamon chips" that come in the kids meal.
Friday, January 9th
Ahhh, the lovely task of grocery shopping at Wal-mart. I really hate the place, but it is the cheapest place to grocery shop. Hopefully someday that won't be such a worry. Notice the Cheetos? That is Charlees addition to the grocery cart. She loves them. Also in the background are snowflake and snowman shaped nuggets. Charlee finds it more fun to eat chicken if it is in some sort of exciting shape.

We went for a drive today to get Charlee to take a nap. We drove out to Copperton and out by Kennecott Copper Mine. Lynn was on call and had the service car so at least we drove in style!

Here we go with my pictures for "Project 365"
Saturday, January 3rd
I LOVE Dr. Pepper. This is in bottle form, but I really do prefer it in "fresh beverage" form.
After church, Charlee was in a really bad mood. So I got the camera out to take her picture and she got even more angry!! What a little pill!
Monday, January 5th
I had to take a picture of our Christmas tree in the gutter. A sign that Christmas is over and that the once fresh, green, beautiful tree is now crispy and dead awaiting its fate in a chipper. It fullfilled its Christmas destiny.

Charlee hugging her Cares Bears. She loves watching the movie and she will stick out her belly and say "Care Bears, stare!"
Love For Nie Nie Benefit Concert
Ever since the end of August I started following a blog http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com . I actually came across it on http://www.ohsweetsadie.blogspot.com giftshow blog page. Stephanie Nielson (who writes the blog about her hubby and four children) and her husband Christian were in a plane crash earlier that month. The pilot, who was also a friend, did not survive. Christian and Stephanie both suffered severe burns and were in critical condition. So Stephanie's sister Courtney was updating Stephanies blog and her own blog http://blog.cjanerun.com (I also love Courtneys blog) with updates on how the couple were doing. Thank goodness they both survived but with a long road of recovery ahead. Since the crash there have been so many people wanting to help out. There have been donations given, auctions held and benefits to earn money to help out the Neilsons. So on February 2nd there is going to be a benefit concert in Provo and I volunteered to help out any way that I can. One way was to post this poster on my blog. I haven't heard back about anything else.

Baaaaaaaaaaaa!
I am sooo sick right now. So is Charlee. We both have this horrible cough. The kind you have to cross your legs for or you'll pee your pants!! (Having Char really did a number on me) I just feel like homemade poo. I am going to try to post some of my "Project 365" pics tomorrow. Till then.

"Project 365"
I have been pretty crappy about updating my blog. Kudos, to those bloggers that blog almost everyday. I am a fan of quite a few and I am always disappointed if by some chance they did not post something new for that day. I know I do not have a huge following, just a few friends and family, but I am going to try to post something everyday. (The key word is TRY!) This is, after all, suppose to be a digital journal of my life.
One way in order to achieve this is Creating Keepsakes designer Becky Higgins "Project 365". The challenge is to take a picture everyday for a whole year and then you do a two page layout of seven pictures for each week. So I have started the challenge. So far so good on taking a picture everyday, I just need to download them and scrapbook them now. I also plan on sharing my picture of the day here on my blog. I am going to have to play catch up since it is already the 15th.So today I am going to post my first picture. This is actually my picture for January 2nd. Charlee went outside to "help" Lynn shovel the driveway and sidewalk. He was shoveling the snow onto Charlee and she kept saying "more". So he partially buried her. It was a very sunny day, so she is squinting, but she still looks so cute. Charlee loves to play in the snow. She especially likes to make snow angels.

Christmas 2008
We went to Twin Falls, Idaho to my moms house for Christmas. We had a lot of fun! Charisse, Dan and their daughter, Ireland and Erline also spent Christmas at my moms. We had 5 fun days full of eating, watching movies and playing games. And this is the real shocker, no huge fights broke out this year. I think, no, I know this is a first. I was sad when we had to leave, but we were ready to go home.
Here are a few pictures from our visit:

Christmas Presents
This is an ornament I made for my mom for Christmas. It is a voice recorder used in scrapbooking. I decorated it and made it so that my mom can hang it on her tree. The recording is Charlee saying "I love you". However, I should have decorated it for everyday use. My mom did not pack it, she has kept it out so that she can hear Charlee say "I love you" anytime!
This next picture is what I made for all of my family and Lynns family this year. I stiched the picture and then bought frames to put them in. I started in November and finished the last on on December 20th. I made 9 of them!! It was fun but got a little boringtowards the end, but I love to give gifts for everyone, so it was worth it.
I will post some Christmas pictures next. I have been a little slow at updating my blog!
